Intelligent Partnership is pleased to announce that we have been accepted as an Associate Member of AMPS – the main trade body for Member-Directed Pensions, such as SIPP (Self Invested Personal Pensions).
SIPP investments are playing an increasingly important role in our business and the investment industry with 800,000 people in the UK now having their own SIPP with £100+ Billion invested through them and industry growth predictors putting the number of people having their SIPP at 1.2m by 2016.
Such investors, their requirements and how to structure a commercially successful investment to this group are well understood by IP who work closely with Project Owners to create and distribute investments on their behalf.
AMPS has in excess of 200 member firms representing all parts of the industry: SIPP providers, SSAS practitioners, pension lawyers, software developers, banks and investment houses. Amongst its varied duties the committee makes representations on behalf of the member-directed pensions industry to Government bodies such as HMRC, Treasury, FSA and DWP.
