Following the resounding success of our London based Alternative Investment Summit in November 2013, the first instalment of Alternative Investment Summit Asia will take place in Singapore’s prestigious Marina Bay Sands on the 23rd and 24th April 2014.
Without doubt key Asian-Pacific markets have experienced a considerable upturn in client demand for new and innovative ways of investing their emergent wealth; a noticeable and increasing proportion of which has been in cross-border alternative investment opportunities from commercial real estate to private equity and everything in-between. This home-grown demand has not gone unnoticed, now being served by an expansive and diverse mix of multi-national corporations, regional IFA firms, local brokers and intermediaries as well as by investment providers directly.
The AI Summit Asia is an opportunity to take a temperature check on the alternative investment sectors and products, share success stories and discuss ideas or issues with your peers as well as hear the views of industry experts and leading commentators on the future shape and size of this constantly evolving sector.

On Day 1 delegates will participate in a full conference programme that will be educational in nature. Aimed at both intermediaries and investment providers from across the Asia-Pacific region, this is an opportunity for you to learn about everything relevant today in the alternative investment industry. There will be a combination of keynotes, presentations and panel sessions from some of the most highly regarded and insightful leaders in the alternative investment industry, to discuss investment trends and sentiment, regulation, compliance, best practice, risks, key selling points, drivers of change, latest market developments and some insights into what the future might hold.
On Day 2 delegates have the option to shape their own programme, participating in a range of sessions that are more sector specific or product orientated. This will give delegates the opportunity to follow up on what they have heard or learned on day one, by attending smaller seminars, workshops and presentations from sector matter experts and investment providers. There will be the opportunity to pre-book and attend one2one meetings and network with your peers, product providers, intermediaries and other alternative investment practitioners. We expect Day 2 to be focused on doing business, strengthening existing relationships and securing new partnerships.
Over both days there will be a select number of exhibitors showcasing relevant opportunities and solutions for delegates.
