We have offices in London, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Guernsey and Berlin. We have over £800m Assets Under Management. Historically we have focused on tax-efficient investments including VCTs, EIS and BR qualifying offers. Our Estate Planning Solutions In late 2017, Puma Investments launched the first Estate Planning solution to offer investors access to listed and unlisted investments via one service. The Puma Multi-Strategy Estate Planning Service is a portfolio managed service providing access to a range of strategies that intend to qualify for BR. The minimum investment amount is £15,000, and investors can choose to invest in Private Trading Companies, AIM Shares, or a combination of the two, via one service. Private Trading Companies: Invest in companies that have a strong reputation for providing senior secured loans to the real estate sector. Puma acts as the Trading Adviser to Puma Heritage plc, which focuses on secured loans that are underpinned by real estate, at conservative loan to value ratios. The investment strategy offers the opportunity to deliver steady returns to investors with the benefit of downside protection. Security and risk mitigation are core to our philosophy, so all our investments are asset- backed and offer reliable returns. Our approach is conservative, but we seek to deliver real, inflation beating, returns, so there is no need to make a choice between tax planning and investment return. The EPS can provide investors with the flexibility and control that allows them to efficiently deal with the unpredictable nature of their circumstances as they age; the EPS allows advisers and their clients to select their underlying investment strategy based on the need for income, faster access to capital and the potential for higher returns through the availability of three core investment options that can be combined for even greater flexibility (making five in total). The core investment options are Growth with Access (3% annual targeted return), Growth with Return (5% annual targeted return) and Income (4% annual dividend). We were one of the first in the market to offer the dividend option and are still one of only a very small number of providers doing so. The ability to switch between options as investor’s needs evolve, removes the risk of having to exit and reinvest. This can be expensive and time-consuming, and if an investor dies in between BR investments, the relief is lost. Disclaimer: The Estate Planning Service invests in unquoted securities. Capital is at risk. Tax treatment depends on an individual’s circumstances and may be subject to change in the future.
